WWII Vet ( Jun 06 13 ) (, Virginia)
I am an 88 year old WWII Veteran living on a limited income (only Social Security) and although unable to help your cause financially, I will be honored to through prayer and passing the word to others. Sixty-nine (69) years ago today, my brother was one of the first troops to hit the beaches of Normandy and my family was told he was killed instantly. It is amazing how after this period of time it still hurts. What also hurts is the fact that few people remember. Thank you for what you are doing.

This flag is a beautiful representation of our fallen Heroes.

Martha Farewell Wheeler ( Jan 17 13 ) (Kissimmee, Florida)
My husband was killed in Viet Nam, Sgt Roger W Farewell, KIA, July 3, 1971. Thanks for what you do do to remember when others forget. He was NOT a baby killer.

Our company just gave an Honor and Remember flag to Richard's Coffee Shop. Enjoy this blog. This is a wonderful gathering place and museum for veterans http://www.conderflags.com/conder_living_military_museum.html

I'm a wife, daughter, granddaughter, friend, and cousin to many war veterans. I want to thank you for starting this organization and bringing a piece of remembrance to the families who have lost a loved one.

Retired AF vet (10 Jan 76-29 Feb 97). Proud son of a WWII vet, who had 5 brothers who were Army (one KIA in WWII), and one Marine. Also, maternal uncle AF vet. My Paternal Grandmother was a gold star Mom. Thank you for remembering all KIAs.

Howard Flomberg ( Aug 26 12 ) (Denver, Colorado)
I'm a Vietnam Vet - we as a nation must insure that we never treat our heroes the way my group we treated. I support this movement totally

Glen Tiberghien ( Jun 26 12 ) (Lawrenceville, Georgia)
I love the way people are showing their appreciation for all of the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice to keep me from not seeing my family each day. I cannot express how heartfelt it is to watch a brother in arms be laid to his final resting place and have nothing but tears to show his family. I have missed each of them day in and day out and there is not a day that goes by that I forget their faces. But, the flag seems like it looks too simplistic. There is no way I or anyone could ever bring back the ones that have given that ultimate sacrifice. I feel that the flag could have been shown more justice in remembering these mothers, fathers, daughters, brothers, uncles, aunts, etc. etc.

This week I have attended two Funerals for members of the old guard it seem that many of my shipmates have been forgotten for their acts of bravery. I remember that they were the pathfinders for me and now I must pass that on to my replacements.
