Day 47 – St Paul, MN – Bismarck, N Dakota

July 23, 2010

Today was a travel day, left Andover at 930am with an escort to Saulk Center, then Ron “Mac” escorted me to Fargo.   Mac a Vietnam combat veteran, with two purple hearts, was the nephew of Lyle Mackedanz, MIA in Vietnam in 1968. We stopped for lunch and had a great time sharing and getting to know each other. I have added another brother to my growing family. From there I drove the rest of the 7 hours to Bismarck.

Tonight I will be staying at a KOA campground, resting and getting prepared for tomorrows events.

Tomorrow: ABATE ride for fallen North Dakotans.

Blessings, George
