Day 71 – Bellingham, WA

August 16, 2010

Today was the first day of the Northwest Washington Fair in Lynden WA. We have a perfect spot right outside the animal show barn taking up the whole corner of the intersection.  Setting up a couple of small tables we were able to fill several pages of petitions and share the flag with many patriotic citizens. It was a long day going for about 12 hours. While there I was also able to reach out to two state representatives in the area, getting their pledge of support.

Additionally I  was able to conduct two radio interviews during the day, one with the “Specialist” back home in Hampton Roads and the other with Army Wives Radio. Hopefully I will be able to get a link posted to one of these shortly.

Tomorrow: Headed to Anchorage, Alaska.

Blessings, George
